Wow! I really like the guitar

Wow!  After replacing the strings on my Esteban Guitar that I got at the HSN return shop for $80, the guitar sounds really nice.  Granted, the strings were of the higher end $18 variety, Clear tone coated variety, and it took my hooking up the little Esteban Amplifier to the guitar to really appreciate the sound, but the sound is really nice.  I don't think that I will have the time required to do more with my little guitar, but it is really cool that the guitar can sound so good.  I don't know the differences in the guitar price points and qualities, but my little Esteban Guitar with the newer strings plays like a different guitar.  The sound seems to be pretty nice, even to my novice ear.  I like the two lower strings that produce the lower bass sounds on the guitar.

It probably is nothing too impressive, but I do like the sounds that it is capable of making.

I've been looking online, and one thing it said was that changing strings for your guitar will change the sound of the guitar.  Sure, it makes sense, but I wasn't particularly confident, I'd not changed the strings on my guitar before.  As it turned out, it wasn't that difficult.  And the sound of a guitar with different strings is better.  I broke the smallest string on the guitar, by over adjusting the turn knobs to have them "line up" looking for symmetry.  I guess I thought that the replacing of the strings would be a bigger deal than it turned out to be, and as such, I didn't look into doing it when it happened.  I looked on YouTube, and there were some how to's on changing guitar strings.  The fact that this seems to be a cheap Esteban guitar, made in China, may have caused some trepidation on my part with getting it serviced.  I've been to Sam Ash, the music store, and I marvel at some of the details on guitars, and how the guitars look, I perhaps don't feel too confident.  At the same time, I've gotten a few accessories from Sam Ash, and have maybe doubled my $80 investment with accessories and such.  Maybe not quite doubling, but I did also get an autoharp, and a keyboard, and another cheap guitar with nylon strings, made in China.  The keyboard was the most expensive of my musical expenses, still, it probably is on the low end of possible expenses.  The autoharp was gotten used off of someone in a nearby town found on craigslist.
I guess the guitar is an easier instrument to pick up, and strum.  The new strings do give it a better, cleaner, different sound.  I also like Garage Band on the mac book pro and how there are different types of instruments to assemble in bands.
We got the Esteban Eldorado model of the guitar from a HSN return store.  I enjoy picking up the guitar, and strumming it, to make some sounds.  So, I'm not entirely sure when it was made, or whatever, but what the heck, with newer strings, it sounds interesting.

On Christmas Eve, we went to Disney World (Magic Kingdom)

There were still lots of people. I suppose that we saw a couple of groups of families from other countries. For some, the process was just an escape (getting out of a routine where previously, the Mother would be part of the big celebration, but the Mother had recently passed away--I guess that describes our situation, Mother-in-law in my case--an escape to the happiest place on earth.) The parking situation is now divided into the Heroes lots and the Villans lots. I guess it was pretty cool. Easier to remember where you parked your car if you have a bad guy to associate with the lot where you parked.

I like the idea of downtown

At this time, Downtown Tampa isn't particularly residential, but who knows? It seems that Downtown Saint Petersburg is more residential. It seems to be more pedestrian friendly anyway. I read yesterday where some Occupy Tampa protestors who were jailed for violating the no trespassing regulations, presumably prohibiting camping in city parks, were released with instructions not to return to the city parks. At the same time, there is a somewhat substantial problem of homelessness. Who knows how much of the problem is created by poor decision making on the part of individuals?

Disney transportation depot

Here, we were at the Disney transportation depot by Epcot, waiting to go over to  Disney's Fort Wilderness Campground area. We had two bowls of chili for lunch  (one appetizer each), and it was very good. Riding the Disney transportation network  was kind of nifty. The day started at Disney's Animal Kingdom, where we got the  calendars along with art prints. Then we went to Animal Kingdom Lodge where we  got some more pictures of some animals. Then Epcot to transfer to Disney's Fort  Wilderness. Once at Fort wilderness, there was a separate series of busses we  could ride. We rode the orange line, saw the purple line busses, and hopped back  aboard the yellow line to get back to the outpost to board the bus back to Disney's  Animal Kingdom.

Time in the car

So much of our time is spent in the car.  In my case, I don't drive, so my time spent in the car is usually with loved ones, usually my wife.  I enjoy spending time with my wife.
